As a native New Yorker, I am absolutely in love with this city; both the beauty and the grit.
I began teaching personal finance education in 2012, and that shaped my future forever. I pursued a Bachelor’s in Economics, and continued a Master’s at Hunter College in Urban Policy & Planning to align with my values for equality within urban communities. I began to fall in love with the idea of an inclusive city, and upon graduation, I turned a passion project into a reality when I created The Urban Money Project, an organization that aims to bridge personal finance education and social impact consulting to reduce wealth inequality.
My purpose is to show the world just how much I care about, everything: people, the built environment, and shaping the future.
Then when I tuck away my superhero cape, my Clark Kent persona is crushing it within a Fortune 500 Corporate Retail company. With over a decade of experience in communications, business process, and technology; I excel at using project management principles to successfully implement technology projects, with a people-centric lens.
I have managed projects that support process simplification, and streamlined workload for thousands of executives and associates. I excel at considering all stakeholders in every project, driving projects towards completion, and considering feedback for future projects. I believe organic relationship building is a critical component of any project, and use my advanced analytical skills for the consideration of quantitative and qualitative values in building a strong knowledgebase for a compelling final presentation.
